Little hands, growing up

For the longest time, ever since my youngest could walk, I had the face of the cooler hidden to one side - away from his tiny, inquisitive hands. It was my way of preventing him from accessing the tempting lever that would shoot out water onto the floor, leaving a sloppy mess for me to clean up.

However, today I noticed the water cooler was facing forward, and it made me think, “How long has it been that way?” It indicated that he's old enough now to know how to use the water cooler properly - and that made me feel a tiny bit sad that my baby is all growing up.

It reminded me that the small things that bother us won’t last forever - and neither will the things we cherish. So, alhamdulilah for every stage in life, the good and the bad. May we always be able to recognize our blessings and be thankful for them.
